Ingredients required for Tamil breakfast recipe Kal dosai
Parboiled Rice - 2Raw Rice - 4
Urud Dal - 2
Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp.
Method for Tamil breakfast recipe Kal dosai
1. Clean both the rice varieties and the urud dal with water and soak both together in water for 4 hours.2. Now grind this to a smooth batter, add the required amount of salt and allow it to ferment overnight or for atleast 6 to 8 hrs.
3. Heat a nonstick dosa tawa and pour a ladleful of the prepared batter and spread it to a thick dosa, this
dosa should not be thin.
4. Sprinkle little oil on the dosa and cover with a lid. Cook this in medium flame and cook for 2 minutes.
5. When you open the lid nice holes can be seen in the dosa. Do not turn the dosa this dosa needs to be cooked only on one side.

Serve the dosas with Vadacurry, Kuruma, Chutney or Sambar.
