Ingredients needed for making Paneer Cashew Gravy
Cashewnuts - 100 gmsPaneer - 200 gms
Tomato - 5 nos
Onions - 5 nos.
Green Chillies - 3
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 3 tsp
Curd - 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
For grinding
Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
Khus Khus - 4 tsp
Cashewnuts - 50 gms
For tempering
Oil - 1/2 tbsp
Cinnamon - 2
Cloves - 2
Bay Leaf - 1
A sprig of Curry Leaves
Method for making Paneer Cashew Masala Gravy
1. Heat oil in a pan, fry the cinnamon, cloves, curry leaves and bay leaf and then add the finely chopped onions saute well till it becomes transparrent. Then add the chopped tomatoes and saute well.2. Next add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and curd, mix well and cook in a low flame for 3 minutes and then add little water.
3. Fry the paneer cubes in oil and then add this to the above mixture when it starts boiling.
4. Next add the ground coconut-cashew paste and salt.
5. Mix well and bring to a boil.
6. Fry the remaining cashew nuts and add this to the gravy.
Serve hot with Rotis, Chapathis, Paratha, or anything of your choice.
