Podi Dosa | Dosa with Milagai Podi

Are you bored of eating regular dosas. Then try this Podi Dosa Recipe. You need not worry about preparing side dish for Dosa since it is a 2-in-one preparation. Podi Dosa is a spicy South indian Breakfast delicacy. It is a very east to make recipe made using the dosa batter and milagai podi. Podi dosa can be taken as such or can be served with Coconut Chutney.

Ingredients for making Podi Dosa


Dosa batter - 1 cups
Groundnut Oil as required 
Ghee as required

Method for making Podi Dosa

1. Heat a dosa tawa and grease it with oil. 

2. Mix 5 tsp. of groundnut oil to 2 tsps. of ghee.

3. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread quickly in circular motion. 

4. Now sprinkle 1 tbsp of idli podi on top of the dosa, and pour oil and ghee mixture as required.

5. When the dosa begins to change brown in colour fold the dosa and remove from tawa.



 Now the spicy Podi dosa is ready to be served with Chutney or Sambar.
