Do you want to try any new breakfast recipe? Feel bored of eating the normal dosas then try this tangy tasty Tomato dosa. This is a simple Dosa recipe which can be made within a few minutes. Here I have used the normal idli dosa batter. Try this Thakkali dosa with any chutney or sambar.

Ingredients needed to make Tomato Dosa
Dosa batter - 1 cup
Tomatoes - 1 no.
Red chilly - 1 no.
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 2 cloves.
A sprig of curry leaves
Method for making Tomato Dosa
1. Chop the tomatoes into fine pieces and blend the tomatoes, ginger and garlic to a smooth paste in a mixie.

2. Add the tomato paste and curry leaves to the dosa batter and mix well.
3. Heat a dosa tava and pour a ladleful of batter and spread into thin dosa. Flip to the other side.
Serve Tomato dosa with Peanut Chutney, Idli Podi or Curry leaves chutney.
Note: You can add more tomatoes to get bright red colour.
